TGIF Concerts In The Parks Returning To Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, CA — Carlsbad's annual TGIF Concerts in the Parks series returns next week, bringing nine free outdoor concerts to community parks throughout the summer.

The series kicks off June 19 at Stagecoach Community Park with country band The Pistol Blonde. Gates open at 4 p.m., and concerts run from 6 to 8 p.m.

The summer lineup includes performances by Chunky Hustle Brass Band on June 26, Dance Dance Evolution on July 10, and Harbor Party on July 17 at Stagecoach Community Park.

The series then moves to Calavera Hills Community Park, featuring Sabrosas Latin Orchestra on July 24, 90s Rockshow on July 31, and B.I.G. on Aug. 7.

The final three concerts will be held at Alga Norte Community Park, with FlashPants performing on Aug. 14 and Daring Greatly closing out the series Aug. 21.

Each event will feature family-friendly activities, including dance lessons, crafts and community art projects.

Free shuttle service will be available for concerts at Alga Norte and Calavera Hills community parks. Attendees at Stagecoach Community Park can park at nearby La Costa Canyon High School. Free bike valet service will also be offered at all concerts.
