World Renowned Music Troup The Young Americans Coming to Turn Up The Music in Carlsbad!

For the first time in San Diego County, local youth are preparing to study and perform with The Young Americans August 5th-9th during the 2014 JUMP Summer Camp taking place in Carlsbad. The Young Americans is a non-profit 501(c)(3) performing arts and educational company founded in 1962 by Milton C. Anderson and is credited with creating the very popular “glee” and “show-choir” concepts in the early 60’s.

The camp will culminate with a Broadway-type two hour show for the community full of color, costume, talent and musical passion on August 9th.  A percentage of the proceeds from The Young Americans JUMP Summer Camp will benefit the Carlsbad Educational Foundation to help fund music, science and innovation in Carlsbad Schools.
