Zydeco Favorite Bayou Brothers to Rock the Library

March 13 concert will feature upbeat music for all ages.

With a sound straight out of Louisiana, the Bayou Brothers will rock Georgina Cole Library on Sunday, March 13 with their musical gumbo of Zydeco, Cajun and blues music. This free concert begins at 2 p.m. and seating is first come, first served.

The Bayou Brothers formed 15 years ago to share their love of music and have been playing at festivals and concert venues throughout the southwest. They kicked off the year with a European tour and more recently, performed at House of Blues San Diego and the Colorado Music Festival in Arizona.  The library has been fortunate to host them several times over the past five years and their concerts are among our most popular.

For the musically inclined, Bayou Brothers musicians have been known to invite audience members on stage, providing a rub board for jamming along. To get a better feel for their music and upbeat style, check out photos of the musicians in action or watch a video from their recent tour.
