• 12-Year-Old Boy in Medically-Induced Coma After Getting Hit by Car While Riding an E-Bike (people.com) — A 12-year-old Ashley Falls Elementary student is in a medically induced coma after being struck by a Tesla while riding his e-bike on Del Mar Road in Carmel Valley and turning toward Old Carmel Valley Road. Family members say he has severe head injuries but is showing small signs of improvement, and neighbors have launched a GoFundMe to help with medical costs and daily expenses.
