1 Dead, 2 Hurt In Hayward Shooting
Both surviving victims are expected to recover from their injuries.
HAYWARD, CA — Police in Hayward are investigating a homicide that occurred early Monday morning.
At about 2 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of B and Alice streets after receiving reports of a shooting.
Before officers arrived at the scene, police received another 911 call from a man who said his friend had been shot and he was driving the victim to the hospital.

Police found evidence of a shooting at B and Alice and located three shooting victims at the hospital, which they believe are related to the location.
A 43-year-old man from Redwood City was pronounced dead at the hospital. Two other people, a 43-year-old man from Hayward and a 32-year-old man from Alameda, were treated at the hospital and are expected to survive.

The man from Alameda was the person who first contacted law enforcement about his friend being shot.
No one is in custody for the shootings and police are not releasing the identities of any of the victims at this time.
