1 Killed in Castro Valley Townhouse Fire

The one-alarm fire broke out Sunday morning.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — One person was killed in a townhouse fire in Castro Valley Sunday morning, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.

The one-alarm fire in the 20000 block of San Miguel Avenue was reported around 7:30 a.m. and has since been extinguished. The blaze broke out less than 150-feet from the firehouse.

The fire is under investigation.
