2 People Shot, Seriously Injured In Castro Valley
Both victims were taken to the hospital.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Two people were seriously wounded in a shooting at 9:18 a.m. Wednesday in Castro Valley, the Alameda County Sheriff's Office reported. The shooting happened in the 22400 block of Center Street.
Both victims were transported to the hospital.
"At this time, we do not have a motive for the shooting but it is believed the suspects and victims had an encounter in the exterior car port area of the apartment building," Lt. Ray Kelly said in a statement. "The suspects fled the scene and detectives are working to identify them."
