6 Injured In Hayward Shooting: Police
The shooting happened late Tuesday night during a large gathering.
HAYWARD, CA — Six people were injured in a shooting in Hayward Tuesday night, police confirmed in multiple reports. All of the victims are expected to survive their injuries. One suspect is reportedly in custody.
The shooting happened during a large gathering in the 400 block of Ranker Place.

Around 10:30 p.m., Hayward Police requested assistance from Union City Police due to the shooting.

Meanwhile, there were two unrelated homicides in Hayward on Tuesday, according to Bay City News. Police responded to the first homicide at 7:40 p.m., in the 1100 block of Tennyson Road, according to Officer Cassondra Fovel. The second homicide was reported at another location at 11:30 p.m.
