Tax Help Offered at Castro Valley Library By Appointment

Beginning February 1 and continuing through April 11, free tax assistance will be provided (by appointment only) on Wednesdays in the .

Appointments will be offered between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.

The program is a partnership between the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).

Trained volunteers help with preparing California State and U.S. Federal income tax and e-filings.

To arrange an appointment, call the library during normal open hours at 510-667-7900 or visit it to register at the library information desk.
