CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A woman was carjacked at gunpoint as she attempted to exit a driveway in the 2700 block of Sydney Way in Castro Valley at around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported.

The crajacking followed an attempted carjacking minutes earlier at the Mobil gas station parking lot at 18950 Lake Chabot Road. The woman in that case "was able to flee in her vehicle to safety" according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.
