So You Want to Talk Dogs?

Welcome to my Blog about Dogs!

Let me introduce myself a bit.

I'm a dog lover, owner of two rescue dogs, a professional dog/people trainer, a dog walker at times, a cat lap for some, and since I have a lot of poodle somethings in my life — a decent groomer.

I got involved with the Bark Buster method of training when my then dog Trey could not control himself. Of course it was all about me learning to control myself.

I had to learn his language and now I help dog owners develop their own skills to communicate in a way their dogs get. I further assist dog owners in understanding the critical importance of the love/bond, trust, and respect components that make up the dynamic family pack relationship.

I realize that many people are embarrassed by their dog’s bad behavior and believe there is nothing they can do about it, or they may blame themselves for their dog’s bad behavior.

The reality is we don’t grow up knowing about canine communication and behavior. I am thrilled and excited I can pass along to dog owners what I studied at the Bark Busters Home Dog Training Center in Denver. 

So enough about me. What I really want is to get you involved in talking about your dogs, dog happenings around town, experiences you have had at the , adoption fairs going on, problems you are having with your dog, concerns about rescuing a dog versus getting a puppy, puppy mills (and how do you know it is one), behavior issues, cat and dog problems, pet food recalls, support for pet related medical conditions, and whatever else I have not thought of.
