Castro Valley Pride 2018 This Saturday

The event is family oriented. "... we share the same visions and values that all small town Americans have."

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Castro Valley Pride 2018 will be held this Saturday at Castro Valley High School from noon to 5 p.m.

The 8th Annual Event will include performers, speakers, food trucks and over 70 vendor and community group booths.

“We think it’s important for our community to understand that our families are the same as theirs, and that we live right alongside them in Castro Valley and many other small East Bay communities," said Billy Bradford, founding member of Castro Valley Pride. "We shop at the same stores, our kids go to the same schools, and we share the same visions and values that all small town Americans have.”

Castro Valley Pride is especially pleased that ten faith groups will participate, more than any other pride event in the Bay Area.

The event is family-focused so there will be no alcohol or nudity, but there will be a family entertainment stage with karaoke and games for kids.
