Castro Valley Sanitary District's Redwood Road Trunk Sewer Replacement, District Project No. 89 (2016-01)
Redwood Road Trunk Sewer project begins in mid-June 2016
Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) will be breaking ground on our Redwood Road Trunk Sewer project in mid-June 2016. The contractor we will be working with for this project is Ranger Pipelines Incorporated. Ranger Pipelines Incorporated submitted a low qualified bid of $548,930.00 for the project work. The project will be comprised of the following repairs and has been estimated to take 60 working days to complete:
· 7 Pipe segments will see full replacement, maintaining the same alignment down the center of Redwood Road between Heyer Ave and Seven Hills Road
· 1,706 total linear feet of full line replacement via pipe bursting (HDPE SDR-17)

· 1,062 linear feet upsizing from 8” VCP to 10” HDPE
· 644 linear feet upsizing from 8” VCP to 12” HDPE

· 14 Manhole reconnections
· 21 Lateral reconnections
