Castro Valley Swim Center Hosts New Year Polar Bear Plunge
Event will help raise funds for Swim Lesson Scholarships

The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) will be hosting the annual New Year Polar Bear Plunge at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Castro Valley Swim Center, Redwood Road at Mabel Avenue, Castro Valley, CA.
Ring in the New Year with a dip in the unheated outdoor pool where everyone will plunge in together promptly at 9:45 a.m. All registrants will receive a swim cap, certificate and warm refreshments. There will also be a prize for the swim team that brings the most swimmers!
Any and all donations are welcome to help raise funds for Swim Lesson Scholarships so come on out to take a dip or to support the brave Plungers!
