Cat Killed In San Lorenzo Apartment Fire
4 residents were displaced by the fire.
SAN LORENZO, CA — A cat died, but no people suffered injuries Tuesday afternoon when a 2-alarm fire tore through a San Lorenzo apartment complex.
Four people were displaced, according to the Alameda County Fire Department.
The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. in the 16200 block of Via Arriba, according to Division Chief Eric
Moore.

The blaze appeared to be coming from a unit on the second floor of the three-story building. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control within about 20 minutes, Moore said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
