Mountain Lion Strolls Through San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Mountian lion sightings are common in the Bay Area, from the Peninsula to the Berkeley Hills. But, the streets of San Francisco?

Salesforce CEO and philanthropist Marc Benioff shared a video on YouTube Saturday of a cougar calmly strolling across pavement. Benioff tweeted, "A San Francisco Mountain Lion just walked in front of my house" and included a link to the video.

The video appears to be from a home security camera.

Benioff's annual Dreamforce convention kicked off in San Francisco on Monday.

The tech billionaire and his wife are philanthropists in the Bay Area. They have donated hundreds of millions of dollars to children's hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland, which are named for them.
