Christmas & New Year’s Holiday

CVSan offices will be closed Dec. 24th, 25th, 31st and Jan. 1st. Holiday trees will be collected curbside January 7-11th and 14-18th.

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) offices will be closed on Monday, December 24th, Tuesday, December 25th, Monday, December 31st, and Tuesday, January 1st in observance of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. Waste Management of Alameda County (WMAC) offices, the 98th Avenue Cashier, Hayward Pay Station, and Call Center will be closed on Tuesday, December 25th and Tuesday, January 1st.

Recycling, organics, and garbage collection services will occur one day later starting on December 26th and January 2nd during the holiday weeks. Residents and businesses with Thursday collection days will have pick up on Friday and those with Friday collection days will have pick up on Saturday.
