Free Compost From CVSan: Appointment Deadline Wednesday

Participate in the Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) Recycles Day and Compost Give-Away event! Appointments will be required to participate. Drop-ins will not be allowed access into the event.

CVSan residents and businesses are invited to drop off textiles, documents for shredding, e-waste, mattresses, and tires (without rims) at Canyon Middle School from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23rd. Participants can also receive three 1-cubic foot bags of compost!

Participants will be required to follow all safety requirements to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, including wearing a mask and staying inside the vehicle at all times.
