CVSan Goes 10 Years Without Lost Time Due to Accidents!

CVSan hits a major milestone - 10 years without lost time due to accidents!

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) has not lost any time due to accidents by its employees since 2006. That is 73,000 hours of continuous labor without an employee missing work due to a work-related accident!

“This is a tribute to CVSan’s commitment to high quality work with safety as a priority in everything we do,” says Roland Williams, General Manager. CVSan performs construction-related activities, maintenance of sanitary sewer lines in the public roadways and steep easements, as well as solid waste audits and other dangerous work with safety and protection of employees and the public given the highest priority.

CVSan reached this milestone on April 10, 2016 and hopes to continue this amazing record with the CVSan motto of, “Safety is no Accident.”
