CVSan Hiring Solid Waste Specialist

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the position of Solid Waste Specialist. Solid Waste Specialists are responsible for coordinating programs designed to reduce the generation of waste and divert it from the landfill. This position also provides support for CVSan’s solid waste management and collection, processing, and disposal services.

This full-time, non-exempt position requires graduation from a four-year university and at least one year of verifiable experience either in developing and implementing solid waste recycling programs or in a field that provides the required knowledge and skills for this position. Experience using Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
