CVSan Marshall Street Sewer Construction Project Begins
Last week a $1.67 million project designed to repair and replace sewer pipes in Castro Valley began.
On Monday, June 17th, Castro Valley Sanitary District’s (CVSan) contractor Devaney Engineering, Inc. began construction on a $1.67 million project designed to repair and replace sewer pipes at various locations throughout Castro Valley. These sewer pipes were originally built in the 1940’s and 1950’s and their condition has slowly degraded over time.
The largest portion of the project will be on Normandy Court and Marshall Street, between Veronica Avenue and Greenacre Road. Construction will take place Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is expected to be completed by end of September.
