CVSan offers Free Repair Workshop at Castro Valley Library
Bring your non-functioning or unusable things for assessment, disassembly, & possible repair on June 23rd from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
CVSan is presenting its second of two Castro Valley Fixit Clinics for 2018 at the Castro Valley Library (3600 Norbridge Avenue) on Saturday, June 23rd, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Please note the date change (event is NOT on June 16th).
Bring your non-functioning or unusable things (electronics, small appliances, computers, toys, bicycles, fabric and textiles, etc.) for assessment, disassembly, and possible repair. A workspace, specialty tools, and guidance will be provided to help you troubleshoot issues with your item.
Please note that the Fixit Clinic is designed to provide a place for you to learn how to fix your item yourself. Volunteer coaches may reference other coaches or online resources or recommend that you look up a part online. The spirit of the event is that you are involved and learn, not that you hand over your item for someone else to fix.

Whether your item is repaired or not, you’ll learn more about how it was manufactured and how it’s supposed to work. Children must be monitored by an adult at all times.
