CVSan: Operations and Engineering Building Groundbreaking
CVSan is pleased to announce the Operations and Engineering Building Groundbreaking Ceremony taking place Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) is pleased to announce the Operations and Engineering Building Groundbreaking Ceremony taking place Thursday, June 1, 2023. Members of the public are invited to join CVSan’s Board of Directors, local elected officials, members of CVSan’s Community Advisory Committee, the project team, and other CVSan staff as ceremonial shovels are put into the ground to mark this exciting occasion.
“CVSan’s new Operations and Engineering Building has been many years in the making. We are looking forward to this ceremony to celebrate the start of construction. The project will take approximately 12 months to complete. We encourage the public to come to this event and to look forward to a larger grand opening event once the project is completed.” stated Roland Williams Jr., General Manager of CVSan.
The groundbreaking ceremony begins at 1:00 pm in the Board Room at CVSan’s Main Office at 21040 Marshall Street. After a brief presentation, attendees will walk to the new project site at 21195 Center Street for further remarks and photos. Attendees will then return to the Board Room for refreshments.
