CVSan Recycles Day Event and Compost Give-Away

In April, over 1,000 residents participated in Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan)’s Recycles Day event and Compost Give-Away event. CVSan’s next Recycles Day and Compost Give-Away will take place on July 22nd at Canyon Middle School. Alameda County residents are invited to drop off Household Hazardous Waste, such as e-waste, paint, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and sharps. CVSan residents may also drop off textiles. CVSan residents and businesses can also receive three 1-cubic foot bags of compost!

A Recycles Day appointment with paper ticket is required to participate. Registration opens June 26th at 3:00 p.m. and closes on July 6th.
