CVSan: Recycles Day Event is a Success!
Approximately 1,100 Alameda County residents and CVSan businesses attended CVSan's Recycles Day event.
On Saturday, July 22nd, approximately 1,100 Alameda County residents and Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) businesses attended CVSan’s Recycles Day event at Canyon Middle School. Attendees dropped off textiles for reuse and Household Hazardous Waste such as medications, sharps, e-waste, and chemicals for proper disposal and recycling. Additionally, 3,200 1-cubic foot bags of compost were distributed to CVSan residents and businesses.
CVSan thanks the community for being conscious consumers and taking the effort to properly manage their materials! The next Recycles Day event will be held in Spring 2024. Appointments are required. For more details on the event, visit cvsan.org/RecyclesDay early in 2024.
