CVSan: Solid Waste Rates Remain Steady, Effective July 1, 2022
CVSan's Board of Directors approved a 0.22% average increase on May 3, 2022, at their Regular Board Meeting.
Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan)’s Board of Directors approved a 0.22% average increase on May 3, 2022 at their Regular Board Meeting for Solid Waste Services Rates, effective July 1, 2022. The prior year saw a rate decrease of -0.5% effective July 1, 2021, so the new rates will be below 2020 rates for services.
A single-family residential customer with 32-gallon garbage service will receive an $0.11 monthly increase on their Alameda County Industries (ACI) bill, and a 20-gallon garbage service single-family residential customer will receive a $0.07 monthly increase.
