CVSan Zero Waste Microsite and Pinterest Account

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) has developed a brand-new website devoted to sharing articles, information, and tips to help the Castro Valley community reduce waste and live zero waste lifestyles. Zero Waste means reducing the volume and toxicity of waste and conserving and recovering all resources instead of burning or burying them. The website is part of CVSan’s Zero Waste Strategic Plan, adopted in 2014, which outlines ways the organization will work to achieve the goal of zero waste by the year 2029.

This website will serve as a one-stop location to learn about everything zero waste related, with a local flare. Whether your interests include cooking, pets, travel, or the outdoors, there are ideas for reducing waste in all aspects of your life.
