Davis Street Transfer Station Tour

On Friday, March 9th, twelve attendees experienced a firsthand look at the Waste Management organic and garbage transfer facility.

On Friday, March 9th, Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) in coordination with Waste Management of Alameda County, Inc. (WMAC) hosted a free tour of the Davis Street Transfer Station for CVSan residents and business owners. Twelve attendees experienced a firsthand look at the organic transfer facility, the garbage transfer facility, the construction & demolition material recovery facility, and the WMEarthCare Center, where locally sourced and produced compost and mulch are made available for the public.
