67th Annual Egg Hunt And Bonnet Parade

The 67th Annual Egg Hunt and Bonnet Parade will be held at Kennedy Park in Hayward on April 7 at 9 a.m.

It is sponsored by the Hayward Area Recreation and Park
District’s Youth Program. Registration starts at 9 a.m. (The event will take place rain or shine.) Admission is free.

Bonnet Parade

 A Bonnet Parade, led by the Easter Bunny, starts at 9:30 a.m. You must be age 6 and under to participate in the Bonnet Parade and all bonnets must be homemade and be worn by the participants during the parade to qualify. The  bonnets will be judged in three categories - the prettiest, most unusual and most colorful.

Egg Hunt

The Egg Hunt commences promptly at 10 a.m. There will be four egg hunt age categories; one to two, three to four, five to six and seven to nine year olds.
