The women and children who come to Shepherd’s Gate are seeking to start a new life. They are able shop for free at the thrift store for clothes for job interviews and school as well as items to furnish a new place to live after graduation. Proceeds from the thrift store directly support the women and children at Shepherd’s Gate by providing care, safety, education and encouragement as they rebuild their lives. CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A Ferrari crashed about 10 feet down an embankment on Redwood Road Wednesday morning, and burst into flames, according to he California Highway Patrol. While both people in the car were able to escape, a CHP report describes the crash as major injury. No additional details are immediately available about the victims. The crash was reported just before 8:30 a.m. The fire was quickly extinguished before it could spread.
