Multiple Crashes Impact Castro Valley Traffic

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — It's been a bad day to try to get anywhere on I-580. Traffic was a crawl during the morning commute.

It's still very slow, with a new crash blocking the left lane at Eden Canyon Road. The CHP describes the crash as a solo vehicle spin-out, with the silver SUV smacking the center divide. An ambulance has been dispatched to the scene.

Meanwhile, there's a crash at Lake Chabot Road and Baywood Avenue. No further information is available at this time.
