Public Safety Power Shutoff Update: Certain Schools Canceled Monday
Power is still out at Chabot, Jensen Ranch, Palomares and Proctor elementary schools, Canyon Middle School and Redwood High School.
From the Castro Valley Unified School District: Power is still out at Chabot, Jensen Ranch, Palomares, and Proctor elementary schools, Canyon Middle School and Redwood High School. Due to the Public Safety Power Shutoff school is cancelled at these sites only tomorrow, Monday, Oct. 28.
However, if power is restored before morning, school will resume as normal at these school sites. We will update you by 6 a.m. tomorrow morning confirming if schools are open or closed. All other CVUSD school sites not listed will remain in session.
