Latest: Shelter-In-Place Lifted Following Officer Involved Shooting Near Cal State East Bay
Two suspects are in custody, but more are being sought.

HAYWARD, CA - Fremont Police report via Twitter that the department has been involved in an officer involved shooting in Hayward, near the California State University East Bay campus.
There have been no reports of injuries.
Hayward Police have two suspects in custody and are searching for another suspect who is believed to be armed and dangerous, Hayward Police said.

The shooting occurred at the City View apartments, located at 25200 Carlos Bee Boulevard.
A shelter in place for the nearby student housing complex, University Village, was put in place immediately after the shooting but has since been lifted.

A few nearby streets are closed, as police investigate the shooting.
Classes at the university continued.
