The Bay Area’ First Lady "Suga-T," and The Young Grandmothers Club, decides to celebrate her birthday with an exclusive video review & album listening party to help bring awareness and support towards parents who have children with Autism for the Holidays. Suga-T will also be presenting a performance dedicated to autism from a song she adds on her new upcoming Rhythm & Rap EP as a way to empower the Autistic community.

Nationwide Release– In many cases Birthdays are normally celebrated as a way of pleasure for the recipient. Usually the gifts consist of presents and pampering of some sort.

However, in this case, West Coast Rap Pioneer Social Entrepreneur and Autism Activist Suga-T & The YGC decides to take it home by celebrating her birthday with an exclusive video reviewing and album listening party as a way of bringing awareness and to raise proceeds to provide support for the parents who have children with autism for this holiday season.

Suga-T’s experience with parents who have children with Autism runs extremely close to home and knows first-hand how challenging it is to parent, however gives the ultimate respect to the parents who are raising this special and gifted population of children with Autism. Her years of experience around the Autistic Community, makes her feel responsible to support other parents who deserves the honoring and support. Suga-T advocates for female empowerment, well communities and recently started the Young Grandmothers Club.

The YGC’s mission: Uniting, Inspiring young grandmothers, while empowering the generations of yesterday, today and tomorrow as well as promoting a well community and family unity. The YGC incorporates programming for not only young grandmothers and young parents, but for parents who have children with autism as one of the leading populations to help become or maintain wellness in their lives. The Red Carpet event will be held Dec 18th, @ The Fogline Bar & Grill in Hayward, CA, @ 6:30pm-10:30pm.

Suga-T’ shares that celebrating another year of life for her birthday makes her thankful, however this event will give a chance for herself, fan base, friends, colleagues and family to come together for a positive cause and show appreciation to the Autism Community, while having fun reviewing the upcoming Rhythm & Rap Video and Album inserts, they all have been waiting on." Suga-T has given a variety of options to bring support to the parents who have children with Autism alongside of the event. Suga-T has had a thirty-year run in entertainment and is the biggest west coast selling female rapper ever, serving as "The First Lady of her family rap group "The Click" featuring brothers E40, D-Shot and cousin B-Legit. This year she is the recipient of many honors and recognitions including the most recent honor as The Grand Marshall of the Mad Hatter’s Parade in Vallejo, CA, recognized for her humanitarian and musical efforts inspiring the Vallejo Community and the 2016 Sacramento Equality International Film Festival awarded as an Outstanding Film Producer.
