A Vibrant Castro Valley Garden: Photo Of The Day
Vicky and Guy Milam started gardening during the pandemic. A photo shared by Guy shows this year's bountiful harvest.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — While the world was on lockdown during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Vicky and Guy Milam decided to start their own garden at their Castro Valley home.
Today, it's producing a vibrant and bountiful harvest.
"Since that year, our garden has continued to grow as our gardening knowledge has," Milam told Patch in an email. "We have yellow and green zucchini, tomatoes, pole beans, jalapeño peppers, and various pollinating flowers and herbs, plus Milkweed for monarch butterfly growth."
