Volunteers Needed to Guide Parks Facilities into the Future

CASTRO VALLEY, CA - Do you have a soft spot for the Rowell Ranch in Castro Valley, Japanese Gardens in Hayward, or Skywest and Mission Hills Golf Courses?

The parks need an advocate on their behalf.

The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (H.A.R.D.) is currently accepting applications for four vacant committee positions from interested residents who reside in Castro Valley, Hayward, San Lorenzo and the unincorporated areas of Alameda County – Ashland, Cherryland and Fairview – for the Districts’ Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC).

The committee meets four times per year and provides recommendations to the District’s Board of Directors, works on specific Board-directed projects, and reviews District and park design projects.

Applications will be accepted until appointments are approved.
