Woman Injured in Castro Valley House Fire
The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. (Video)

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — One woman was injured in a Castro Valley house fire Tuesday night. Her name has not been released by Alameda County Fire officials.
The fire was in the 4700 block of Heyer Avenue. The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived around 10:45 p.m.
It took about 20 minutes to put out the fire. No firefighters were injured.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. A total of 8 people were displaced. and assisted by the Red Cross. The cause and origin of the fire is under investigation.
