Woman Killed In Hayward Crash
The collision between two vehicles happened on San Benito Street.
HAYWARD, CA — A woman was killed in a traffic crash Wednesday night in Hayward.
On Wednesday at 9:22 p.m., officers with the Hayward Police Department responded to the 30000 block of San Benito Street on a report of a collision involving two vehicles.
Responding officers located a vehicle that had crashed into a parked semi truck trailer, police said.

The 35-year-old woman was unconscious and was suffering from injuries. She was ultimately pronounced deceased at the scene by medical responders.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.

Police said it was unknown if alcohol played a factor in the crash.
The crash marked the fourth traffic fatality in 2023, police said.
