Young Rembrandts Kindles Creativity of Young Artists in East Bay

Illustrious childhood art education program draws plan for success with new territory transfer in East Bay

EAST BAY, Calif. – Young Rembrandts has etched its name as the leading childhood art enrichment program with the recent transfer of the territory to a new franchisee, expanding its proprietary art education curriculum to more kids in East Bay.

Now locally owned and operated by franchisee Padma Rani, the Young Rembrandts territory serves schools from multiple locations including Alameda County and Contra Costa County. The transfer builds on the momentum of a sensational 30thanniversary in 2018, positioning Young Rembrandts as the recognized leader in art education in East Bay.

“Working with children has always been a passion of mine,” said Rani. “After having my two boys, I decided to forego my career as a physician and dedicate my life to being a mother. Being involved at my kids’ schools, whether it be helping in their classroom or running the annual fundraiser, has always unleashed the desire to take my involvement one step further and I am able to do that with Young Rembrandts. I’m looking forward to continuing to bring art education to more children in East Bay and carrying on my involvement in the local community.”

A unique art enrichment program that solely focuses on cognitive development through drawing, Young Rembrandts is based on the belief that when foundational art skills are taught to preschoolers and elementary students, there is a strong correlation between that involvement in the arts and future strong academic performance and personal achievement.

“Every time we welcome a new franchisee to the team, we have the opportunity to showcase the passion and dedication our franchisees bring to the students and communities they serve – I am confident that Padma will continue this legacy,” said Bette Fetter, Founder and CEO of Young Rembrandts. “I know that Padma will make an outstanding new member to the Young Rembrandts family, and her commitment to teaching the children of East Bay will make Young Rembrandts a crucial partner in helping children develop cognitively and discover their inner artist.”

The transfer in East Bay is part of the brand’s strategic growth initiative, as Young Rembrandts targets 20 to 25 more signed agreements through 2019.

Through its unique methodology that gives kids the confidence to create skilled artwork, Young Rembrandts helps boost cognitive development, hand-eye coordination, spatial learning and critical thinking skills. Unlike many other childhood art enrichment programs, Young Rembrandts provides students with a tangible takeaway project with each lesson. Students are able to learn a new technique and complete an exceptional piece of artwork within a single class period.
