Bomb Squad Investigates Suspicious Package at 405 in Westood

Traffic is being diverted from Wilshire Boulevard onramps.

Updated at 2:08 p.m.: A police bomb squad has cleared a “suspicious package” that closed the Wilshire Boulevard onramps to the 405 Freeway in Westwood.

The bomb squad removed the suspicious package found on a Wilshire Boulevard sidewalk, according to the LAPD, which reports it was just a suitcase containing personal items. The offramps from the San Diego (405) Freeway have been reopened, according to the CHP.
