Dozens of Firefighters Tackle Garage Fire in Westwood

Firefighters needed 13 minutes tonight to knock down a fire inside a garage at a home in Westwood.

The blaze inside the attached garage at 121 S. Glenroy Ave., near Sunset Boulevard, was reported at 9:36 p.m., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The department dispatched 32 firefighters to the scene and kept the flames from spreading to the house, Scott said. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
