UCLA Bruins Make NCAA Tournament as Seven Seed

The UCLA Bruins are dancing.

The team is heading to Tampa for the NCAA Mens Basketball Tournament, scoring a seven seed Sunday.

The Bruins (22-10) will play No. 10 seed Michigan State on Thursday in Southeast regional play.

UCLA is one of four Pac-10 schools to make the tournament including Washington and Arizona. USC is in with an 11 seed but has to play Virginia Commonwealth University in an extra "play in" game on Tuesday in order to advance further.

Top seeds in the 68-team field NCAA tournament are Ohio State, Kansas, Pittsburgh and Duke.

The final game, should the Bruins advance, is set for April 4 in Houston.

UCLA finished second in Pac-10 play but lost to Oregon in the second round of the Pac-10 conference tournament last week.
