• Change in state law won't impact grazing goat services provided to City of Chico (actionnewsnow.com subscription) — Chico's goat-grazing program in the Lindo Channel will continue despite a recent change in state labor law that raises costs for goat herders. City officials say contractor Capra Environmental Services will adjust staffing and schedules so fire-fuel reduction can go on without major cost increases for Chico.
