• Elderly Woman Killed in Chino Mobility Scooter Crash on Central Avenue (pacificattorneygroup.com) — An 87-year-old woman from Chino died after a mobility scooter was struck by a vehicle on Central Avenue on October 8, with police saying impairment is not suspected for the Chino driver. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she later died, and investigators are still working to determine what led to the fatal afternoon crash. 
• Online black market for In-N-Out delivery grows in Southern California: report (ktla.com) — Chino residents can look forward to a new In-N-Out opening at 8245 Pine Avenue, part of the chain’s latest California expansion. While the company still refuses to offer official delivery, an underground market of pricey, sometimes risky delivery offers is popping up across Southern California, so locals are urged to be cautious when paying strangers online for burger drop-offs.
