• Coroner IDs Driver Killed in MoVal Crash (mynewsla.com) — A 24-year-old Chino woman, Cheyenne Phillips, was killed Sunday afternoon in a rollover crash on westbound Route 60 in Moreno Valley, and an infant in her vehicle suffered minor injuries. Investigators say her SUV was speeding in the median before overturning and sending her into oncoming lanes, where she was struck by another car. CHP is still investigating and seeking witnesses.
   

• Infamous double murderer Betty Broderick dies at California hospital (mercurynews.com) — Chino Valley Medical Center is where convicted double murderer Betty Broderick, long imprisoned for the 1989 killings of her ex-husband and his wife, recently died at age 78 after transfer from state prison. Some of her children traveled to Chino to be with her before she passed, closing a decades-long true-crime saga that drew national attention to Southern California.
   

• Paradise Dynasty and Burritos La Palma team up on birria soup dumplings (fresnobee.com) — Chino gets a brief shout-out as home to Dutch dairy farms in a story about a new birria soup dumpling collaboration between Paradise Dynasty and Burritos La Palma in Costa Mesa and Glendale.
