• Board actions, June 23 (sbcounty.gov) — Chino will join San Bernardino County’s Urban County Program starting in 2027–28, opening access to major federal funds for affordable housing, homelessness services, infrastructure, and community development. In wide-ranging actions, supervisors also advanced transportation funding, expanded behavioral health and senior services, backed supportive housing projects, and certified road-district election results. These moves shape future services, mobility, and safety that Chino residents rely on countywide.
   

• APN: 0311-116-36-0000 TS (bigbeargrizzly.net) — A trustee sale is scheduled for July 29 at 1 p.m. at the main south entrance of the Chino Civic Center, where a Big Bear City property will be auctioned. While the real estate is outside Chino, the sale location may matter to residents who attend foreclosure auctions or track local real estate activity. Bidders must bring acceptable funds and understand they’re buying a lien, not guaranteed clear title.
   

• Pomona officials determine vendor responsible for printing error of recreation guide with porn images in some copies (sbsun.com) — Chino gets a brief mention in a Pomona misprint incident, as a local US Printing branch shares ownership with the Montclair shop tied to a recreation guide error that inserted adult ads into a few copies. Pomona officials and police concluded it was an unintentional third‑party printing mistake, with new quality controls promised for future print jobs.
