April Showers: Rain Predicted for Next Few Days in Citrus Hieghts Area

Weather forecasters are predicting rain for during the next few days, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expected rain to travel south through Sunday and linger into Monday.

A second wave of the storm will bring rain starting Monday night that continues into Tuesday.

Forecasters expect the heaviest rain to be during the time of Tuesday morning’s commute, including possibly a thunderstorm or possible small hail.

The second storm will be colder and stronger and rain will be heavy at times.

Forecasters said snow is possible at elevations above 3,500 feet.

Forecasters are warning people with plans for spending time outdoors during the first half of the week to check the latest forecast to plan their activities.
