Don’t you just love it when something new and exciting comes to town? It is with great excitement that I received the news that Citrus Heights was going to have our very own Patch! As an active member of our community and someone who feels a great sense of pride in our city, I am so pleased that Patch.com has decided to expand into Citrus Heights. I was thrilled to meet with the Patch staff a few weeks ago and share with them about our fair city (after a year of pestering Lauren for our very own Patch!)
This little town of 85,000 residents (give or take a few!) has so much going on and so many wonderful things to share. From such worthwhile endeavors as the Sylvan Ranch Community Garden to the work of Itsie Bitsie Rescue to the amazing folks over at the Sayonara Center, people in Citrus Heights consistently reach out to show they care and make a difference in our community.
