Financial Literacy Classes for Teens at the Sylvan Oaks Library

Economics classes you can use: Learn how to manage your finances and avoid scams.  

The Sylvan Oaks Library has partnered with Golden 1 Credit Union to provide a series of free money education programs for teens this summer.
 
These practical seminars will focus on the actual situations and decisions teens will face, both as young adults and as they grow older, start families and buy homes.

Mad City Money
Learn what you need to know about real-world spending. In this this interactive budget simulation game, teens 12 and older will take on the role of adults—with jobs, families and debt—in futuristic Mad City. Registration required.

July 17, Thursday, 3 p.m.

Credit & Savings Workshop
This interactive workshop will teach the basics of establishing credit and savings.
