• New owner wants to reopen old gas station on Auburn Blvd. (citrusheightssentinel.com) — A long-vacant gas station at Auburn Boulevard and Watson Way in Citrus Heights may come back to life, as the new owner has requested a permit to reinstate fuel sales. The corner lot across from Rusch Park would keep its basic layout, operate from early morning to midnight, and replace a shelved drive‑thru pizza plan that stalled after the previous owner's death.
