• New details emerge in Aug. 20 Citrus Heights assault (citrusheightssentinel.com) — Citrus Heights residents are learning more about the Aug. 20 assault near Greenback Lane and Auburn Boulevard, where police say a man armed with a sharp object was arrested after briefly walking in traffic. Records show the suspect, Michael Cavalier, faces multiple felony charges and remains in custody, while the victim, previously in critical condition, was later reported stable.
