With member and nonmember pricing laid out, the nonprofit invites locals to celebrate five decades of preservation and learn more about the community's Route 66 and artist-linked houses.

IE Varsity's previews of top high school football games on Friday, Oct. 2 (modbee.com) β Claremont football fans can catch Diamond Ranch visiting Claremont High on Friday, Oct. 2, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. The matchup is part of a packed Inland high school schedule that also features key league openers and rivalry games across the Baseline, Citrus Belt, Ironwood, and other conferences, with several teams riding win streaks into the weekend.

Autel Names 2026 Awarding Excellence Scholarship Recipients (tirereview.com) β Claremont resident Logan Mercier has been awarded a $5,000 Autel Awarding Excellence Scholarship to support his automotive studies and goal of becoming a Master Technician. He's one of five recipients nationwide sharing $25,000 in aid for tuition, tools, and other training costs, as the program expands to help both recent graduates and adults returning to school.

Cal Poly Pomona Honors 25th Anniversary of 9/11 Through Day of Service (cpp.edu) β A Claremont-based nonprofit, Shoes That Fit, just received hands-on help from 17 Cal Poly Pomona volunteers who labeled and organized new athletic shoes for children in need. Their 9/11 Day of Service effort supports the organization's mission to give kids properly fitting, confidence-boosting footwear while minimizing disruptions to school days across the country.

Jen Γner '86: Finding her leadership trajectory at CMC (cmc.edu) β An alumna who chose Claremont McKenna College over other universities reflects on arriving just after the school shifted from Claremont Men's College and how that co-ed transition shaped her views on leadership and gender.
